Sleep Maps - No More Good Dreams
Sleep Maps - No More Good Dreams

The weight of our experiences with loss, depression, and anxiety strand us on an island of broken dreams and night terrors. What are we?

Harsh contrasting fields of texture rail against subtly overlaid typography, emphasizing the album’s themes uncertainty and isolation.

Sleep Maps is a solo project by Ben Kaplan. Our working relationship thrives on a mutual respect of our crafts, allowing for plenty of feedback, ideation, improvisation, and execution.

Sleep Maps - We Die For Truth
Sleep Maps - We Die For Truth

What great works will survive man’s negligible presence in the universe?

The ruins of civilization are dwarfed by an obelisk of unknown origin, which eclipses an expanse of stars. Planned with collage and executed with traditional mediums, the album’s darkness and texture foster quiet rumination and a discussion of its implied themes.

NoNight - NoNight
NoNight - NoNight

NoNight is a 4-piece out of Brooklyn, NY, leaning strongly in to synthpop, retrowave, and 80’s soundscapes.

For their self-titled initial release, an abstract visual of a solar eclipse and dust halo reflects both the title and shape of the album itself. A minimal palette of 80’s pink and black with white accents for emphasis was agreed upon, complimenting a hand-painted title (brush, ink) and digital collage (photoshop).
